Nicole is a Special Counsel and part of the real property division at Madison Marcus.
Nicole is an experienced senior property lawyer, having over 20 years’ experience. Nicole has practiced predominantly in the areas of commercial property and before that, a as a litigation lawyer.
Nicole’s broad property law experience includes leasing (including stream leasing), all size property sales and acquisitions, mixed use leasing and developments and other small, medium and large scale developments. Nicole has a special interest in due diligence, leasing and titling reviews, audits and assessments. She has advised on general property and leasing transactions throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, the Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory.
Nicole has also had extensive previous experience in commercial litigation, giving her a unique ability to understand and deal with all aspects of a transaction or project.
Prior to her time as a property lawyer, Nicole had been involved in various retail and commercial leasing tenancy disputes heard before the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal and formerly, the Queensland Retail Shop Leases Tribunal. She has also had extensive experience in attending and preparing for hearings in the Federal and Queensland State Courts and mediations and settlement conferences.
Nicole’s previous experience as a litigator has allowed her to develop her skills as an experienced property lawyer with her focus being on the mitigation and reduction of risk for her clients in all transactions.
