Her background includes working in private practice at well-respected National and International law firms and in-house counsel at a retail chain.
Since starting her legal career in Melbourne in 2005, Jane has gained extensive experience in the national commercial, industrial, and retail lease markets in multiple states, including New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, and South Australia. Her practice includes advising clients on commercial property sales and acquisitions, business sales and acquisitions, owners’ corporation and strata law, property due diligence, and property financing and insolvency.
In addition to her core areas of expertise, Jane brings a unique set of skills in the area of franchising and hospitality law, including liquor licensing and gaming. This expands the services offered by Madison Marcus and enhances the firm’s ability to provide comprehensive legal solutions to its clients in these areas. With her extensive experience in these fields, Jane has acted on hotel, liquor store, nightclub, and restaurant sales and acquisitions and has experience in liquor licensing and the sale and acquisition of gaming machine entitlements.
