Benoir commenced his employment with Madison Marcus in 2011 and primarily practiced in the field of commercial dispute resolution, with a focus on property and construction litigation. During this time, he also gained experience in corporate and commercial transactions, intellectual property protections, and general commercial drafting.

Benoir has represented clients in disputes across multiple jurisdictions, including NCAT, the Local Court, the District Court, the Supreme Court, the Federal Court, and the Court of Appeal. These disputes covered a wide range of equitable and common law issues, with values ranging from $50,000 to $150 million.

In his role as an Associate, Benoir shifted his focus to purely corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance advice, asset protection, and extensive commercial drafting. In 2018, he was promoted to Partner and became the leader of the Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Division at Madison Marcus. In this position, Benoir provides legal advice to a large number of high-net-worth individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises, and large corporations on various transactional and advisory legal matters.

Benoir has advised on numerous significant transactions, including the restructuring of a material sale to an ASX-listed corporation with a net value exceeding $100 million, and the sale of interests in NSW landholding entities with values ranging from $50 million to $200 million. He has also advised on the acquisition and disposal of assets and shares in technology, childcare, real estate, and other globally diverse businesses.

Due to his prior experience as a litigation and dispute resolution lawyer, Benoir is able to provide his clients with well-informed and technically sound commercial legal advice. He is also personable and adept at identifying and resolving complex legal problems. Benoir was recognized for his achievements in the field of commercial law as the winner of the 2022 Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards in the Commercial category.
