Jimmy Morcos is a Director at Madison Marcus and Managing Partner of the Melbourne office. He has been leading a legal practice as a Managing Partner for over a decade, building strong relationships with his clients and influential people including government authorities, court authorities, and renowned corporate executives.
With his unique knowledge, extensive experience, and legal skills, Jimmy specializes in commercial law and immigration law, and works with foreign investment clients. He also provides guidance in relation to governance, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property.
Jimmy values relationships and strives to be a “landscape lawyer” who helps his clients in all aspects of their lives, rather than a “bridge lawyer” who simply gets them from one place to another. He maintains strong relationships in China and the Middle East, and his reputation was instrumental in Madison Marcus being inducted into the Grand Compass Law Alliance in 2021.
In addition to his Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts, Jimmy holds prominent roles in a number of organizations and is a member of education, charity, and NFP boards in Victoria. He was nominated as Partner of the Year by Lawyers Weekly in 2019 for his outstanding leadership and dedication to his team, and is currently working towards a Senior Executive MBA at Melbourne University.
