Dinesh is a Partner at Madison Marcus and heads up the Global Mobility and Immigration Division. Dinesh came to Australia in 2000 to study law and graduated from Deakin University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). After admission to the Supreme Court of Victoria as an Australian Lawyer, Dinesh began his legal career in the property law section, where he also initiated the Migration Law Practice, showcasing his ability to identify and cultivate new legal frontiers. His expertise encompasses Criminal Law, Family Law, and Immigration Law, reflecting a broad legal acumen. Dinesh’s leadership roles include serving as the President of LawHelp Australia and holding positions such as the former treasurer of the Eastern Suburbs Law Association (ESLA) of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV), and a committee member of LIV’s Administrative Law and Human Rights Section’s Migration Law Committee. In addition to his legal practice, Dinesh is deeply involved in legal education. He was pivotal in developing the initial Evidence law curriculum for Swinburne University Law School, where he served as the Unit Convenor. He has enriched the academic community as an Academic in Law at Deakin University and an adjunct lecturer at the College of Law, specialising in evidence law’s theoretical and practical aspects. Dinesh’s contributions extend to the media as the CH 31 TV program LawHelp producer, further evidencing his dedication to public legal education. Dinesh’s linguistic skills enable him to connect with a diverse clientele, embodying Madison Marcus’s commitment to serving communities from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds. His career is a testament to his dedication to legal excellence, innovation, and community service.
