Earlier in his career, he co-founded NotCentralised, contributing to initiatives such as Project Acacia with the Reserve Bank of Australia and Redbelly Network, focused on the intersection of financial systems and emerging technologies.

Mark is now the Managing Director of Foundry Labs, an innovation and AI consultancy focused on applying data science and artificial intelligence within regulated and complex environments. Through this work, he has led the design and deployment of AI-driven systems across professional services and financial markets, with a focus on practical implementation, governance, and measurable outcomes.

At Madison Marcus, Mark works closely with partners and clients to design and implement secure, private AI systems tailored to legal workflows. This includes developing internal tools to streamline document processing, automate operational tasks, and support legal research, as well as advising clients on the adoption of AI within regulated environments.

Beyond his role within the firm, Mark is an active leader in Australia’s AI ecosystem. He previously served as President of the Data Science and AI Association of Australia (DSAI) and later founded the Australian DeFi Association. He currently serves as Co-Chair of the AI Working Group for the Digital Economy Council of Australia (DECA), contributing to industry-wide initiatives focused on responsible AI adoption and capability building.
